What Is Art?- Art is a form of self expression to me. It's a way to show and share your thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Artwork can be many different things and have many different styles from drawing, to building, or photography. Personally I love seeing other peoples art because it's an inspiration to me.
Is Copying Always Plagiarism or is there a Gray Area? Explain. I think that there is a grey area. Though it might be small it's still there. I myself like to practice off other drawings. Not trace, but use it as reference or try to imitate it to practice for a certain style. I think that that's not plagiarism, as long as I don't credit it as my own. I can say I drew it but that the drawing was not originally from me. And then remember, it's hard to be original these days.
List Some reasons that an artist would need to use Observation when making Artwork- Artist would need to observe for multiple reasons. If they want to base their piece off something that would be important. Or also you could do quick sketches from observation. Like a fruit bowl or birds are popular I think. I like to observe how people walk/move so that I can try drawing figures better.
What kinds of problems might artist encounter as they plan, make and share art? When you make art, there can be multiple problems. Artist block is a serious one for me and many other people. Also I think that originality is a problem. It's hard to do something that you want to do thats not already done. When you are making a project, something could go wrong, and it could get messed up or lost or destroyed. Or maybe you simply don't like it. That happens to me a lot. Afterwards, when you share, it could easily be taken unless everyone in the world knows it yours, which they don't. Once you put your artwork out there, it's bound to be sketched in someone elses notebook.
Difference in Responses: My responses are completely different from each other. In the beginning of the year, they were quick, 1 sentence, unenthusiastic and unopinionated. Now they were longer with more idea and thoughts into what the question was actually asking. I think you can see the difference easily.
