When visiting NCState, we were presented with a problem or challenge in which we had to make a solution. For my group, we had to make a piece of clothing that served a purpose but could fit multiple people at once. We struggled with the idea, thinking maybe a large snuggie/jacket type thing. Debrina also came up with the idea of a life jacket. We were all pretty excited about that, until we had to do the 30 second challenge. Then spawned a few new idea.
We ended up going with a large poncho that could open on the sides, and attach to other ponchos. It had a detachable hoodie and possibly arms.
To us the problem was mobility; how to allow people to walk casually. We talked and ended up with the diamond shaped bottom, which allowed for easier movement for the individual.
